With the rise of the fascist Trump to the US presidency, democratic mankind came before a big revelation, which was also felt as a big shock. Russia, having supposedly collapsed and dissolved as a superpower in 1991, is now strong enough to install its man on the most powerful political post of the strongest economic and military power in the globe. As a matter of fact, it doesn’t try hard to conceal its achievement, because it can officially deny it, though when talking to friends she can’t help bragging about the humiliating process it has imposed on the American superpower.
Trump himself doesn’t either try hard to deny it (except for the criminal liability that stems from this matter) as, in order to defend his “deep friendship” with Putin, he has entered a conflict with all the traditional political headquarters of both American parties and with all US security mechanisms that ascertain Russia’s interference with the 2016 elections in favor of him. This kind of bragging and conceit is indispensable for them, because fascism must always appear almighty in front of its army of supporters, who are generally people seeking to follow a strong guy that will supposedly settle all accounts for them.
However, open bragging would be impossible for them unless the Russian superpower ensured first that the camp opposing Trump was also badly infiltrated in its head by friends and agents of that same Russian superpower. This is true especially for the Obama-Clinton leading faction in the Democratic Party, which attained the 2008-2016 presidential term with a general policy line that the enemy wasn’t the rising Russian superpower, but the second rate Al-Qaeda gang. This is even more plainly true of the pseudo-leftist Sanders’ opposition, led by a glorifier of Brezhnev’s social-fascism who has been pretending lately to be a social-democrat, in order to seize the generally non-fascist and anti-Putin Democratic Party through a number of factions that he leads. All these guys pretend to be the champions of anti-trumpism, while their policy line is in its basic points identical to Trump’s; this is especially the case of their foreign policy, with the anti-Al-Qaeda line being translated into destructive interventionism by the superpower in the Third World. Lately, another misleading policy line has been added to the abovementioned, openly propagandized by Trump but having been prepared by Obama, a line advocating that the true international adversary of the US is China, and therefore Russia is an ally or a potential ally of the US. This is a policy line that works notably with the liberal economicists, who find it hard to believe that Russia could be politically strong while being economically relatively weak.
In a country like Greece, where the social-fascist pseudo-left dominates ideologically all political parties, and hence the media, very little has the people heard about this great conflict that has been raging inside the US. This is entirely to be expected, for the conflict between Trump’s presidency and a series of state mechanisms and political cadres that more or less openly denounce him as a Russia’s agent would destroy the deceptive image of international developments having been elaborately created by social-fascism for three decades. That is the image of an all-powerful American empire that prevails globally, that has been more and more encircling, getting closer and closer to its only formidable adversary, Russia, the only castle that hasn’t yet been conquered. In any case, this false image of an encircled castle waging a fierce desperate battle for its own survival doesn’t match reality, which tells of an agent of this castle like Trump who has gone so far as to seize the top of the political power inside the US, the encircling force, on behalf of Russia, that is of the so-called desperate encircled one. But mostly this doesn’t match the following fact: That there is not even one ultra-rightist, fascist or racist in the whole world and most importantly in the center of the US so-called global empire, that is not a friend of Putin’s Russia! If the story went their way and the center of world reaction was the US, then the US ultra-right would be the main standard-bearer of anti-Russian aggression. However, as the Trump case has also shown, in the US as well as in the rest of the globe right the opposite happens: the more fascist, racist and Nazi one is, the more he or she loves the supposedly besieged castle of Russia and the more he or she hates the supposedly all-powerful empire. It’s not that Nazism has become a friend of the weak and the oppressed, it’s that the world center of Nazism and of any reaction is as of today Russia.
So, the new (and every new) Hitler has two faces: the face of a poor victim and the face of a triumphant avenger. The more he advances, the more the mask of the victim, which is designed to lull his enemies, will be being removed as not necessary, and the more the true face of the beast will be being revealed. It is necessary to uncover this real face as soon as possible, because the sooner the peoples get to know about it, the less hardships and tortures they will endure. That’s why we must rip off the mask of deception, the theory of the alleged encirclement of Russia, which is the theory of the new Hitlers who, precisely because they are Hitlers, are capable of creating and maintaining such big and monstrous lies and we must also expose the real face of the monster, the real encircling force and the real aspiring global dictator.
The “encirclement of Russia” is the new Hitlers’ war flag
The theory of “Russia’s encirclement by the US and the West” has been the general propaganda line of social-imperialism on global developments since 1991. It was designed to make the peoples come to terms with its own aggression as an alleged defense measure for the smashing of this encirclement. As we will demonstrate below, this theory is not only absolutely incompatible with the developments of the last 30 years, but also a complete reversal of reality, because it’s not the West but the eastern neo-hitlerian war axis of Russia-China that is in a stage of general rise. And the one that is in the downfall and decline, that suffers hit after hit and defeat after defeat, having fallen victim of encirclement by those fascists is the semi-democratic bourgeois-liberal Europe.
It’s striking that the above theory is adopted by all shades of social-fascism, either those ones that are more overt supporters of a so-called “tactical” alliance with Russia (Popular Unity -LAE, New Left Current - NAR, hitlerian-Trotskyites (as we call them) of the Communist Revolutionary Action KED/Avantguard style) or those which allegedly adopt “pure anti-capitalism” and pretend to be equally hostile toward all imperialistic blocs (pseudoCommunist Party of Greece, “Marxist Leninist” pseudomaoists, Socialist Workers’ Party SEK). So the social-fascists may on the one hand adopt the overall Russia’s foreign policy line (the West is attacking, we are defending ourselves), and on the other hand may present this position of theirs not as a political position but as a neutral description of reality, and thus continue to pose as pure so called anti-capitalists.
Quite naturally, this theory was imported in Greece by the pseudoCPG, the most strategic local agency of Russian social-imperialism, in the 1990s, and henceforth it has been adopted by all factions of social-fascism, factions that can’t take a step forward in their political and ideological line unless this step was previously approved by Papariga and Koutsoubas (leaders of pseudoCPG as of 1991).
So the pseudoCPG says that:
“It’s already an indisputable fact that the military siege against Russia is part of the overall strategy of United States of America and NATO imperialists.”
“Rizospastis”, 13/12/1998 (https://www.rizospastis.gr/story.do?id=3751488)
“The American activity in the region (editor’s note, of Afghanistan and Central Asia) doesn’t exclusively aim to control the energy routes. It serves the broader targeting of encircling Russia and China.”
“Rizospastis”, 23/09/2001 (https://www.rizospastis.gr/story.do?id=955383)
“Ukraine and other countries, fields of a barbarous antipopular policy and of cold anticommunism, are military outposts of the European Union and NATO for the encirclement of Russia, in the context of fierce competition with her.”
“Rizospastis”, 13/12/2018 (https://www.rizospastis.gr/story.do?id=10127443)
The anti-capitalist SEK claims:
“The attempt by the EU and NATO to expand eastward since the collapse of the Soviet Union, through neoliberal “shock treatments”, but also the military encirclement of Russia has never stopped. But now it intensifies anew”.
Document of SEK from the 3rd Conference of ANTARSYA (http://www.sekonline.gr/article.php?id=90)
“People’s Resistance”, the frontal organization of CPG(m-l) and M-L CPG, says in turn:
“The dramatic developments in Ukraine are merely a continuation of the crusade that has being waged by western imperialism since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, aiming at the stifling encirclement of Russia and the eradication of any remaining strongholds of hers in the eastern countries that belonged to or were previously under the influence of the Soviet Union.”
“Proposal at the rally of People’s Resistance – A.A.S. on Ukraine” (https://bit.ly/2KDKoSB)
As for NAR, it says:
“In this context, fierce confrontation with China and the quest for a new equilibrium with Russia have been announced, although NATO and the US are already moving forward their plans of military encirclement of Russian capitalism.”
Resolution of the P.C. of NAR, January 2017 (https://bit.ly/2ZV4OtX)
In dozens of such positions one may find detailed descriptions of the encirclement as the strategic plan and the explanation of all interventions and movements of US imperialism in the last 30 years. What one won’t find, except for a very few cases, is why all these things happen, what the goal of the encirclement is, what happens if the encirclement is completed, what will be the next stage for the encircling force. The omission is not accidental at all. What they whisper but do not dare say clearly is that the objective of the encirclement is to militarily attack Russia, to violently change its regime, colonize and even partition it. Let us now explain why they whisper it but do not clearly say it.
If the alleged encirclement of Russia led to such a development, if its success entailed the brutal colonization-partitioning of Russia and necessarily a new world war, then the struggle Russia wages for the breaking of the encirclement (and thus for preventing the attack, colonization and war) would be absolutely fair, progressive and peace-loving! Leninism teaches us that the right in a conflict is determined by the purpose each side fights for. If things were the way the social-fascist pseudo-left presented them, if the struggle waged by US imperialism was a struggle for the occupation and dismemberment of a sovereign nation, in our case Russia, then the struggle Russia wages against this prospect would be a fight against foreign occupation and dismemberment, that is a just fight!
That’s why social-fascism, instead of saying how are things going clearly and plainly, and instead of reaching the logical consequences of its analysis, only goes halfway. Those gentlemen want their cake and eat it too! They want both to justify Russia and pose as “equal enemies of all imperialisms”; both to take their followers by the hand, step by step leading them to the conclusion that Russia wages a just battle for national survival, integrity and independence, and to refrain from this last step so as to avoid giving explanations that would objectively justify imperialist Russia and show it as struggling for altars and hearths.
This “enemies of all imperialisms” motto being raised as a banner by social-fascism at a time when Russia is overtly invading, attacking and partitioning, means: “you, peoples-victims of invasion, don’t resist the imperialist aggressor because then you favor the adversary imperialism; like anti-capitalists that you are, you should be against all imperialisms and not side with any of them”. This was the position Trotsky had taken when Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938 by advising the Czechoslovak workers not to resist, and is also the position the pseudo-leftist agents of Moscow reiterated when the latter invaded Ukraine in 2014 by considering this matter not as one of invasion and occupation of a part of Ukraine by Russian imperialism but as a conflict between USA-Russia for spheres of influence.
The job of the social-fascist pseudo-left is to paralyze the resistance of the European countries-victims of the attack from within. A portion of it, the one that now poses as more “people’s frontal”, will be welcoming the Russian neohitlerian army as liberators from the American neoliberal tyranny so as to create the new quisling’s army to fight alongside them, while the other portion, the “anti-capitalists”, in order to throw the most democratic elements that hate the fascist stench into inertia and paralysis, will say to them: “neither US nor Russia”, which means “don’t resist Russian attack because then you’ll have become lackeys of US imperialism and therefore just as reactionary as the fascists that you hate”.
These are the two political faces of social-fascism: a “people’s frontal”, openly pro-Putin face, and an “anti-capitalist”, secretly pro-Putin one, enabling it to pose as a friend of the progressive and democratic people before stabbing them on the back, and this is where the complementary function of its faces lies. The basic elements of this tactic have manifested themselves in Ukraine, Georgia, Chechnya, Syria and wherever Russia of the new tsars-hitlers reveals their true aggressive-cannibalistic nature.
Russia encircles Europe from the Caucasus, the Middle East and North Africa
The alleged western encirclement, they claim, has been proven by a series of mostly US and secondarily west-European imperialist interventions. Starting from Serbia in 1999, they moved on to Afghanistan in 2001, Iraq in 2003, Libya and the whole so-called Arabic spring since 2011. The 2008 Georgian and the 2014 Ukrainian wars have also been included in this series of interventions by social-fascism. Although it was Russia that launched the military attack against both countries, the social-fascists again ascribe a defensive role to her, because it was the westerners that had supposedly “provoked” her, compelling her to respond.
This is a Goebbels’ reversion of reality. Such a narrative could only be cohesive through concealment and misrepresentation of the most basic data on what really happened in each individual case. We are going to prove that those interventions were not based on a plan for the encirclement of Russia, but were on the contrary perpetrated in alliance with her, that is with Russia’s decisive approval and encouragement, while all those interventions by western imperialism have, without exception, finally led the countries that underwent them to fall into the clutches of Russian social-imperialism, that has been working intensively with its agents both inside the western interventionists’ ranks, encouraging them to hit the nationalistic (and thus to some extent anti-Russian) third-world regimes, and inside the ranks of the victims of which Russia pretends to be friend and supporter.
We are now going to analyze how this method has been successfully applied in a series of countries.
Serbia 1999: Russia covertly encourages western intervention while playing the friend of the victim
Social-fascism treats Serbia as if it has always been a Russian province. This is a big lie, equivalent of the nonexistent “traditional Greek-Russian friendship” one, and is ideologically rooted in the supposed “deep cultural bonds” of orthodox Christianity and common Slavic origins, that is on the fascist mythology of blood and religion.
In her post-war history, Tito’s Yugoslavia followed after 1960 a generally independent third-world policy line, which was always an obstacle to the expansionistic plans of social-imperialism in the Balkans, but also globally due to her leading role in the non-aligned movement. The true Serb-Russian “friendship” was established when Milosevic started his chauvinistic expansion for the creation of “Great Serbia”. This was the first stage in the process of Serbia’s transition into the Russian sphere of influence. Yeltsin offered diplomatic cover and support to every kind of vileness and slaughter committed by the Serbian fascists, in their genocidal operation for the partition of Croatia and Bosnia that reached its peak with the mass execution of 8,000 Bosnian Muslims in Srebrenica.
Milosevic, however, was more of a Serbian chauvinist than a puppet of Russia. This was proven true after 1995, when he refused access to Serbian territory not only for western armies, but also for the Russian one.
Social-fascism has been assiduously concealing the fact that it was Russia, too, that voted for the 1244 UN Security Council resolution, which, right after NATO’s intervention, provided for a provisional UN administration in Kosovo and demanded the departure of the army and police force of Serbia from there, although Russia was at the same time inciting the world against the intervention! The resolution explicitly called for considering the basic part of the Rambouillet agreement that called on Serbia to respect the “will of the people of Kosovo” over the future status of Kosovo, and thus paved the way for the latter’s secession from Serbia. They also conceal the fact that the first army to enter Kosovo after NATO’s intervention was the Russian army, which occupied a strategic point such as the Pristina airport. They conceal the fact that the downfall of Milosevic, caused by the western intervention, not only didn’t lead Serbia into the arms of the West, but on the contrary led Serbia under total Russian control for the first time in its modern history, through some Serbian agents of Russia who then posed as friends of the West. The social-fascists indirectly admit this last conclusion as they still rank Serbia in the Russian sphere of influence, claiming that that’s the reason for which Belgrade is being targeted by the West.
So, according to this deception, the West intervened in 1999 to throw out Russia in the broader context of her alleged encirclement, but Russia backed the intervention, because of which she deployed its army in the western Balkans for the first time since World War I and set the whole Serbia under her political influence! In fact, the western intervention, since it was made in alliance with Russia against Serbian nationalism, handed all this nationalism, and finally the whole country over to Russian hegemony.
Afghanistan: From the once anti-Russian Taliban to Ghani
In the case of Afghanistan, things have even more clearly manifested themselves. Social-fascism says that the US attacked and occupied Afghanistan in order to encircle Russia from its southern border area, which is Central Asia. Afghanistan is, indeed, an exceptionally all-important link for Russian social-imperialism, particularly for its land exit to the Indian Ocean through Pakistan. That’s why it had invaded Afghanistan in 1979 and tried to put this country under military occupation, but was crushed thanks to the all-national heroic resistance it encountered.
The social-fascists’ deception is exposed here as well. If the US wanted to encircle Russia, then the Taliban, the most anti-Russian regime on earth, would be the last to bother them! At that, it would serve them as a useful wedge that could prevent the Russian army from marching towards the south. The Taliban were the national movement of the Pashtun Afghans, and it grew right on the ruins left by the Russian invasion of the 1980s. It’s striking that it was the only government on earth to recognize Chechnya’s independence, when the western diplomats and politicians were launching disgusting, hypocritical appeals to Russia to ease her genocidal violence that had leveled the country through bombings and killed and tortured hundreds of thousands of Chechens.
But since the intervention, and because of the intervention by the US, which overthrew the government of the Taliban, the real political control of Afghanistan has been passed on to Russia. The political platform of this intervention had been prepared before 9/11 by the pro-Russia Clinton presidency, which furiously opposed the Taliban, exerted intolerable economic-military pressure and blockade on them and finally threw them weakened enough into the clutches of the provocative Al Qaeda leadership. By toppling the Twin Towers, the latter dragged the US into an invasion that could only rely on the support of the old quisling-type collaborators of the Russian occupation in the 1980s, the pro-Russia Iran, but also Putin’s Russia itself, which granted political support and military bases to the US in areas of its own control in the ex-USSR.
If one analyzes the general activity of Al Qaeda, he will ascertain that it always favors the strategic plans of Russia, and in particular the well-known “world anti-terrorist front” that serves as a strategic diversion for Russia, as it allows the latter on the one hand to disorientate the West as to the danger Moscow represents and, on the other hand, to form an alliance with the West against the Third world countries and democratic movements that Al Qaeda provokes by striking especially the western population inside the West (crash of the anti-Assad, anti-Russian movement in Syria through the anti-ISIS front).
That’s how Le Monde (22/10/2009) depicted the new situation in Afghanistan:
In 2008 the “Americans’ guy” (it means Karzai) initiated a nationalistic shift, with a view to counterbalancing Washington’s influence, and beyond, London’s, whose more elegant involvement – because of its colonial past – has also stopped due to resentment. Three regional powers benefitted from the vacuum: Russia, Iran and China. Hence, the geopolitics of Afghanistan is “multi-polar”.
Is there a greater irony of history than this Moscow’s comeback? (…) The Russian pressure towards the south, which means towards Afghanistan, has been permanent, delusive, till its escalation into a violent military invasion (1979-1989) that ended up with a catastrophe. But the lesson has been learnt. Low profile was judged as more effective. Today, Mr. Karzai wants to buy Russian military equipment. And the Americans – another irony of history! – are begging the laissez passer of the NATO equipment into the northern borders of Afghanistan, Russia’s small courtyard, from Mr. Putin and Medvedev.
His victory in the 2004 presidential elections – the first to be held in Afghanistan – offers him a popular legitimacy, thus broadening his scope of maneuvers. New networks are being imposed. Mr. Karzai permits the resurgence of the old communists (editor’s note: it means the ex-Brezhnevite social-fascists) whose state culture may prove useful to the embryonic regime.
“The USSR created excellent cadres, explains an international observer in Kabul. Today they occupy key-posts within the police, the army, and the intelligence services. Those institutions could not function without them”. The head of this network is Mohammad Hanif Atmar, who served as an old cadre of the intelligence services of the communist regime before its dissolution in 1992. Today he is the interior minister.
The Westerners find nothing to challenge the rehabilitation of the ex-communists. They wish all the best for Mr. Atmar. However, they will be more concerned, and at that absolutely critical, as happened with the great shift of 2006.
RUSSIA AT THE HEART OF POLITICAL POWER IN AFGHANISTAN (http://oakke.gr/na550/afganistan450.htm)
As of today, after 18 years of war against US occupation, after the extermination by the pro-Russia Obama presidency of Omar’s successor, who continued the anti-Russian stance of his predecessor, the Taliban have gone so far as to accept Russia as mediator, so-called peacekeeper, in their conflict with the government of Karzai’s successors. (https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/05/taliban-progress-afghan-talks-moscow-190530072213758.html) while the American side has accused Russia of supplying them with weapons (https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-41842285)! This is the triumph of Russian diplomacy that now dominates both sides of the civil conflict. The country that resisted Russian imperialism more than any other in the world has passed on to the Russian sphere due to US intervention… which, according to social-fascism, was launched for the purpose of encircling Russia!
Iraq, from Saddam to Sadr and the “C”P of Iraq
The year 2018 was a year of parliamentary elections in Iraq. In those elections, the alliance between the Shiite islamo-fascist al-Sadr and the old Brezhnev Moscow’s agency called “C”P of Iraq won the relative majority. Sadr, who in the first years of US occupation had distinguished himself as a leader of the anti-US guerrilla and who is now the leader of the only mass, fascist and armed terrorist party of Iraq, has being praised for a long time by the most openly aggressive expression of Russian global hegemonism, which is Dugin’s eurasianism. At the same time, Russia cannot officially hide her delight on the hegemonic role Sadr has been playing since the last elections, all the more so since there is talk in his political camp of the need for the installation of S-400 missiles in the country.
This was not an unexpected development for those who know the modus operandi of Russian social-imperialism. The latter uses the strength of its main rival, which is US imperialism, in order to subjugate all the intermediate forces, initially the third world ones and after that the second-rate imperialist powers of Europe, Asia, America and Oceania.
So, as in Afghanistan, a US intervention also took place in Iraq and had also been prepared and instigated by Russia for the downfall of the third-world-oriented Saddam leadership of Iraq, again with the pretext of the common struggle against the so-called main global enemy, that is terrorism. In Iraq this struggle basically took the form of neutralizing the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) of Saddam’s regime. Under the influence of the biggest global propaganda machine, the one owned by the neo-tsarist KGB and its “red”-grey collaborators across the globe, everybody knows and remembers that Russia opposed the 2003 US-British invasion of Iraq in the UN Security Council (SC). Few people however have observed that the longtime political basis that set the ground for the US invasion was a series of SC resolutions, all with the backing of the equally anti-Saddam Russia, that disputed the easily checkable - as was later proved - assurances of Iraq that all its dangerous weapons had been destroyed (weapons that of course the superpowers are allowed to possess in multiple numbers) and demanded from Baghdad to accept the total abolishment of its state sovereignty, that is to allow the UN inspectors, who are both superpowers’ inspectors, to control every inch of its territory every single minute of every single day, something that the Iraqi leadership rightly didn’t accept.
In fact, Russia’s disagreement with the US invasion was only a pretext. So, after it had urged the US to invade, it let it live with the consequences of this dirty job and exacerbate them to the utmost, to the point of exterminating the country’s whole civil and administrative leadership, which was the Baath party. This one, as a party of a third world bourgeoisie, for all its authoritarianism, resisted not only the US but also Russia. Then, with the US chased away by an endless guerrilla, Russia’s buddies in cooperation with the neighbouring Iran conquered the defeated and angry with the US country from within. The best proof of the fact that Russia had not shown any objection to the invasion was that it voted for the 1483/2003 resolution, that while said nothing against the US invasion, gave international recognition to the occupying regime imposed by this invasion and simply set conditions on the occupation by virtually demanding from the US to share it with the UN, meaning basically with the pro-Iran and essentially pro-Russia forces inside the country.
With the destruction by the US of the Sunni bourgeoisie that had led the country as the Baath party, it was natural that the power vacuum would be filled initially by the pro-Iran Shiites and finally by the pro-Russia Sadr party that actually took the political power with the Shiite-Sunni national unity and independence slogans in alliance with the pseudo-CP of Iraq, Russia’s absolute agent that had supported the US invasion back in 2003. So the time had come for the dramatically descending, and for that the most stupid, superpower to deliver the country it had cleared of Russia’s enemies to its new boss.
Anyway, in Iraq as in Afghanistan, a US involvement in such a self-destructive adventure would be impossible unless the most pro-detente or even friendly towards Russia part of US imperialism that as such has secured three US presidents, Clinton, Obama and Trump, had again promoted the Russian plans. What we must note here is how catalytic was the provocation of CIA head, Tenet, who misled the president G.W.Bush’s US political leadership by convincing it that there were weapons of mass destruction in Saddam’s Iraq, as well as bonds between Saddam’s regime and al-Qaeda. It was under such an allegedly terrorist threat that the alliance of US with Iran and essentially with Russia itself was made possible for the second time since Afghanistan, resulting in the overthrow of a mainly anti-Iran and anti-Russia rather than anti-US regime in the Middle East. Such are the consequences of the strategic fall of a superpower (the US) and the strategic rise of another, so that a model has been repeating itself again and again in the third world but also in the intermediate imperialists’ zone during the last 20 years: the US shakes the olive-tree, Russia gathers the crop. Or to say it otherwise, Russia is the dustpan and the US the broom that sweeps one after the other the most politically fragile and isolated states of the third and second worlds into the Russian dustpan.
Of course no pseudo-CPG follower has ever learnt that their fraternal party is already a government party in Iraq, in a government that arose out of the US invasion and occupation, against which they thought they protested in 2003 (while in fact they were protesting against the monopolization of the new power by the US), because then they should wonder what has happened to the fearsome and terrible US plans with which the pseudo-CPG and the leaderships of its non-parliamentary tails have been feeding their friends and members.
Libya - From Gaddafi to Haftar
In the case of Libya one may find another quick and successful application of the “broom-dustpan” model, in which the blood of the third world is lavishly spilt and the money and diplomatic interests of the West are wasted in favor of the Russian diplomacy without the latter spending a single rubble and without losing an ounce of diplomatic capital. Here, an opportunistic and cowardly imperialistic alliance between France and Britain, an alliance diplomatically instigated and militarily covered by the pro-Russia Obama presidency, crashed Gaddafi’s regime and killed him through outside intervention. Gaddafi was overthrown because he had not accepted Russia’s protection. Russia abstained from the 1973/2011 resolution of the UN Security Council so that this could pass and the western intervention could legally take place, but it didn’t want to be unmasked and that’s why Moscow pretended it had reservations.
In the meanwhile, from within the Libyan civil war that broke out the day after the overthrow of Gaddafi’s government, the faction of Russia’s buddy, general Khalifa Hafτar, has emerged as the most powerful one. The latter has spread its influence initially with the backing of the pro-Russia junta of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, that support both the Egyptian dictator Sisi and Haftar, because they are enemies of the Muslim Brotherhood. Recently, Trump has also announced his support to Haftar, right at the moment the general was about to attack the capital Tripoli of the UN recognized government. Haftar, like Sisi, poses as an effective opponent of terrorism and as an anti-Islamist, although he is actually neither one nor the other, except for when he comes to hit the relatively less reactionary pro-independence Islamic currents of the type of Muslim Brotherhood backed by Turkey and till recently by Algeria (the overthrow of Bοuteflika’s regime in Algeria must have set the green light for Haftar’s attack on Tripoli).
So, Moscow, that pretends to distance itself from Haftar for tactical reasons, prevails in Libya by forming a broad front of forces that fight for its own interests. Especially the rampant interventionists of Saudi Arabia and the UAE will soon become encircled by and fall victims to the neohitlers’ axis which they have themselves helped encircle them.
Syria - The revelation of which power has the exclusive right to intervene
In Syria, the western intervention that threatened it till 2013 was the only one not to materialize. And that was so despite the fact that the Syrian uprising was the most massive, the most resolute and militarily the strongest of all Arab ones, and despite the fact that Hezbollah, Iran and Russia itself have invaded the country to suppress it without having or asking for such a right from any UN, except from their minority puppet Αssad regime. To be precise, there was a western military intervention that took place in Syria, but only then and there and only for so long as Russia wanted it, that is against ISIS (that could be dealt with by the Syrian resistance after the defeat of Assad).
Nowhere more than in Syria was it so clearly demonstrated that only the alleged “encircled” superpower has the right to decide who could intervene in a country, who could bomb its hospitals and civilians, who could clear it from inhabitants and thus control the refugee flows and the rise of fascists in the developed world, and finally who could organize the Astana meetings that would partition and distribute the country to those approved by the “encircled” power. On the other hand, nowhere more than in Syria’s handing over to the eastern blade was it more illustratively proven the lack of any democratic principle but also the pro-détente spirit of Munich, the equivalent of 1938, that prevails in the western imperialists as to the dealing with the Russo-Chinese neohitler’s axis. And with that we don’t accuse them of not invading Syria, something that was never asked for by the Syrian mass democratic resistance, but of refusing to give the latter the light anti-aircraft weapons it needed to protect its population from the butchers.
So Saddam and Gaddafi that refused the Russian protection were overthrown by the westerners, while Assad that accepted it remained intact. It is obvious that the message the westerners convey either consciously or not is that: you should either accept Russian protection or lose your head.
This message is also conveyed by the westerners, although in another form and to a different degree, in the case of the brutal invasions and annexations Russia has been perpetrating in the called by itself “near-abroad region”, in particular in Georgia and mostly in Ukraine. In the latter case they seem to take measures against Russian aggressiveness right because this is a brute intervention as no such move has been undertaken so far in the Arab-Muslim world, where the aggressor usually acts through others. But actually the measures taken by the western monopolists leading those western countries, measures that essentially concern only Ukraine – where the equivalent of the occupation of Sudetenland by Hitler has been repeated – are insignificant compared to the provocation and so make not only the countries victims of the attack but also the countries of eastern and central Europe vulnerable to new attacks by the neohitlerians. This pro-détente stance is mostly due to the fact that the energy dependence of many European countries, especially of their economic giant which is Germany, from Russia has been enhanced, something that has strengthened within those countries the most amicable towards Russia bourgeois political forces.
However, even when Russia invades and annexes parts of other countries, it pretends to be the victim of the attack so as to justify its own attack. It uses the weapon that the new tsars know better than any other weapon to use, that is provocation, to pose as the victim. The most elaborate scientific provocation took place in Ukraine where Russia managed, through Yanukovych’s showy yielding to and finally his flee exclusively face to the Right Sector violence and not at all face to the mass democratic and peaceful protests by the opposition, to present those Nazis (the Right Sector), with whom Moscow had cooperated till that moment, as its most effective opponent in Ukraine, that is as the vanguard of the anti-Russia national-independence struggle. In essence, Putin’s Russia of the KGB has achieved this by manipulating the anticommunist and for that partly pro-hitler stance of a part of the Ukrainian nationalism in WW2. This stance has been encouraged by the today “anti-totalitarian” ideology of the western liberals that equates Hitler’s Germany with the Soviet Union and thus relativizes Ukrainian Nazism and strengthens Putin’s propaganda.
We have pictured the countries where the western military intervention has openly taken place, plus Syria where this did not take place right because it lacked Russia’s approval. In many more countries social-imperialism has won positions with the help of the western diplomatic machine with no need of an open military intervention. In Egypt the pro-western nationalist Mubarak was overthrown with the support of Obama’s presidency, so that the pro-Russia dictator Sisi could prevail after the slaughter of the Muslim Brotherhood. In Turkey, through the successive provocations of airspace violations, the coup, and the provocative murder of the Russian ambassador, in which the westerners held a slimy pro-Russian stance, social-imperialism has tied the nationalist Erdogan hand and foot and has been guiding him towards an ever bigger breach with the West. In Pakistan, due to the continuous US intervention that has trampled on the national independence of the country, the pro-Russia islamo-fascist with modernized costume Imran Khan has come to power. All this is about a great reversal of relations in the whole planet, the consequences of which will soon become obvious.
So, to return where we departed from, the Americans woke up one morning to discover that the “dissolved” Russia had installed a good friend of it as their president. But this was not a lucky moment or an accident, but the result of decades of political work on behalf of the Russian superpower, which knows better than any other imperialism in history how to manipulate contradictions at the camp of its enemy and plant its men in their leaderships. Europe will soon wake up to find out that it has been “suddenly” encircled by enemies that have all united against it under guidance of the new Hitler, who has been feverishly preparing for war. The good thing that will come out of this negative situation is that the peoples will become enraged with their liberal or social-democratic, conservative or nationalistic leaderships that have not only let them fall victims of encirclement, but also actively assisted the encircling force’s job with their arrogant interventionism, their piggish indifference for the burdens of the peoples of the Third world, their lack of principles and their cowardice, and finally because they believed in and subdued to Hitler as he promised to free them from the tortures he is planning for the rest of humanity.
